I busted out the Modge Podge this weekend and got all crafty-like in the nursery. I've seen lots of closet dividers given out at baby showers, and there are tons of cute ones on Etsy, but I saw a tutorial on Pinterest the other day and decided to try my hand at making some of my own. Here is the result.
I'm pretty pleased with how they came out, and they were super inexpensive to boot!
You start with a package of wooden O's from the craft store.
Paint 'em blue (or whatever color corresponds with your bebe's nursery... or wardrobe).
Adhere some pretty scrapbook paper with Modge Podge and trim the edges.
Then (I didn't get a picture of this part) add some scrapbook stickers to mark the clothing sizes, and brush some more Modge Podge on the entire O. Be careful not to get your fingers in it though, or you'll be cussing yourself all night as you redo the letters and scrub your hands again and again. Haste makes waste... don't be like me.
Finally, make your husband unscrew the closet rod so you can hang your fantastic new closet dividers. Then stand back and admire your work. Maybe even take some pictures and blog about it because you're so proud of yourself for finally stepping out of your comfort zone and crafting. Then take a nap because being crafty is hard work. I don't know how Martha does it.
When things get chaotic around here in a couple of months, at least I'll know my little boy's closet is nice and organized!
